BRRRR is it cold here today. Jacob is running a temp so we stayed in this morning. I hope it is just a passing thing..everyone around is or has been sick.

Mark and Noah have gone camping/backpacking this week-end. I talked to Mark this morning and it was cold sleeping but they have had a good time. They are on their way home to warm showers and clean clothes.

Noah's Birthday was this past week. 12 years old!! It kinda got lost in the shuffle this week so hopefully we will celebrate bigger this week.

Jacob's Birthday is next week-end and he has the Pine Wood Derby all day on his B-day so we will celebrate his day with Cub Scouts and then again later on.

I hate that we are so busy that we can't squeeze in Birthdays around our house.

Jacob Graduated this week at Karate, he is now a Camo Belt. what this means????? He now gets to use all that sparring gear he got for Christmas.

Noah's Chess Club has been meeting here two nights this past week and again this coming week

Whew.... that is our past couple of weeks in a nutshell. Jacob and I went to St.Louis to celebrate Mom's 70th B-day. It was a fun week-end.

Harrison thinks it awfully cold outside to go out. I do to but I have to go up to church for LTC Quiz Bowl practice and then to the grocery store. My wallet went camping with the boys so Jacob and I were tied to home this week-end. A week-end of Lifetime movies, cleaning the boys room and laundry..not so bad.

Good Morning! Jacob and I are in St.Louis this week-end. It is 16 degrees out and Jacob is wondering why we need coats. I guess that comes from living in the south.
We are here to celebrate Mom's 70th b-day. A little surprise gathering tonight...of course she knows about it!

Where have we been.... besides the computer trouble that would not allow me to get into my blog.... we started out here at home with gifts to each other. we were to leave on 12/23 to head to St.Louis but due to weather we waited until 12/24 to leave. In St.Louis we celebrated Christmas Day at Mom's with Doug and his family. Joan G. joined in on the fun as well. We headed home on 12/26 and spent a few relaxing days at home enjoying the LOUD sounds of Guitar Hero and Halo. Mark's Sister Karen and her two kids came here for New Year's eve. I cooked a big Turkey Dinner and we played games until the Clock stiked....... O.K. we admit it Karen and I both headed to bed around 10:30 and left Mark up with all the kids. I did hear the fireworks at 12:00 but Happy New Year came for me in the morning. On Thursday we all hung out...went to a movie, out to eat and Karen and I went to Dillard's for some sale shopping.

The rest of our week-end has been getting back packs ready for Monday, finishing up homework and projects due Monday. Today is laundry day and putting everything back into its place.
