1. the above pics are from the District GT Math Wars. Noah's team made 5 out 7. The top two teams won with 7 out 7. Last year they only got 1. For those who are wondering 5 out of 7? these math problems are HARD so 5 is good!!!! A Huge day for us.
2. One of my worst dreams came true...I chipped my front tooth, For those that know me and my life in the Dental Field this is huge for me. I go today to get it fixed. They will most likely say what chip?? But it is there trust me!!!
3. Last PTA meeting today for this school year. I go out as President and will not tell you all at least not today what my duties are for next year. ( hint...next year two schools two PTA's)
4. Harrison loves to play at 2:30 a.m. until about 3:45 a.m. if I crate him he just barks so I have finished two books this week.
5. The Pact --- the book I finished yesterday. Great read. check it out on my shelfari shelf on the right. it is at the end.
6. Busy week-end of scrapbooking ahead....I am NOT a scrapbooker but do dabble a bit. I am putting together the 5th grade memory book (it is not to be called a year book because we do not sell it and we are in grade school -- who makes up these RULES??)
7. some may think how fun to put this book together but the big challenge is it is printed in black and white so I have to copy it just so .......otherwise the white kids are bleached out and the black kids all you can see is teeth and eyes. good news .. I have a found a printer that MAY donate it color or at least print it in color at the B&W fee.
8. Tomorrow is the 2nd grade field trip to the Zoo...stay tuned for pics and tired feet.
So once again this is just a glimpse of our little corner of the world. Does not mean a whole lot to you but thanks for sharing in our week.
