Schools

What is your opinions on schools??? Public (which we are in) Charter (we are looking) Private (not really an option here) How do we know which is best for our kids? I would love view points from many as we look at the next couple of years. I think life should be fair and hate the thought of spending hours in line, nights on someones front lawn or counting on a lottery system just to make sure my kids get a fair chance. We want our kids to excel in education but why all the chances? If we are 17th in line and they stop at 16 then my kid does get the chance to learn? First come first serve education is the game around here. Someone older and wiser than me please explain this system to me. Maybe I am just a rambler and worry too much.

What if your kids don't fit into "the box" and need more than just teaching for the test.....
